Keuri Samuel Upía, a 32-year-old man known as “El Tullío,” was arrested in flagrante delicto by the National Police on Monday. He is the primary suspect in the killing of his 27-year-old former partner, Melissa Figueroa. The incident occurred on Sunday night in the La Zurza sector of Santo Domingo.

Authorities confirmed the detention following the fatal event. The case is currently being handled by law enforcement as a feminicide, marking another instance of gender-based violence in the region.
