Former government officials responsible for overseeing the quality of pharmaceutical products and parenteral solutions were questioned by Judge Ernesto Kreplak and prosecutor María Laura Roteta. The inquiry centers on their roles in the regulation of medications, including those involved in a fatal fentanyl-related case. Among those questioned was Agustina Nélida Bisio, who served as a director in the regulatory body.

Following the inquiry, the judicial system granted the former officials release on bail. The legal proceedings continue as authorities investigate the oversight of laboratory-produced medications currently available for sale.
