Fewer student loan borrowers falling behind on payments: Report

According to a new analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, delinquency rates among student loan borrowers decreased during the last quarter compared to the same period a year prior.

Data from the New York Fed's quarterly report indicates that approximately 7.8 percent of student loan borrowers missed at least three monthly payments during the second quarter.
