FIFA President Gianni Infantino has denied allegations that UEFA paid off an alleged lover while he served as the organization's general secretary. The claims stem from a Daily Telegraph investigation alleging the woman received a severance payment regarding an affair with Infantino.

While Infantino denied the claims, UEFA acknowledged that a departure payment was made to a female employee during the time Infantino held his position at the European football governing body.
