Fiji Declares a National Emergency as H.I.V. Cases Skyrocket

The government of Fiji has declared a national emergency in response to a rapid increase in H.I.V. infections across the country. Current estimates indicate that one in every 60 adults in the Pacific island nation is now living with the virus.
