Filip Hrgovic defeated Moses Itauma in London on Saturday to claim the vacant IBF world heavyweight title. The 34-year-old Croatian secured the victory via a ninth-round stoppage after Itauma’s corner threw in the towel during a rally. This win marks the first time a Croatian boxer has held a world heavyweight championship.

The bout resulted in the first professional loss for the 21-year-old Itauma, who had been attempting to become the second-youngest world heavyweight champion in history.
