NewzNepali rescuers are searching for five missing people following fresh flash floods that struck central Nepal over the weekend. The disaster occurred along the Budhi Gandaki River, sweeping away more than 200 houses and five bridges.
The latest flooding compounds an ongoing crisis in the country, which is still recovering from a devastating glacial collapse in the mountains on August 26. That previous disaster resulted in the deaths of more than 1,400 people.
