Flood washes away around 80 houses in Parbat as landslide kills one in Palpa

Heavy rainfall has triggered severe natural disasters in Nepal, resulting in significant property damage in Parbat and a fatality in Palpa. In Parbat, the Kaligandaki river overflowed, inundating the Farse settlement and washing away approximately 80 houses.

Simultaneously, a landslide struck Palpa, burying a residential house and a cattle shed. The incident resulted in one confirmed death, with two additional individuals reported missing. Authorities are currently managing the aftermath of these localized climate-related emergencies.
