KINGSTON, Jamaica — Three Flow customers who each won $1 million in the Passport to Millions summer promotion said the win presents an opportunity to improve the place they call home. In a recent statement, the company named Janice McRae, Joan Leung and Pansy Campbell among the promotion’s millionaire winners, with each qualifying after purchasing a five-day or longer Flow prepaid mobile plan. All three women said home repairs and improvements are among their priorities for the winnings.
For 72-year-old retiree McRae, the prize will help complete a kitchen project that came to an abrupt halt after a misunderstanding with a contractor. A former teacher who spent 40 years at Jones Town Primary School, McRae also plans to use part of the money to assist with medical expenses. “I’ll be 73 this year, and I’m giving God thanks.
Sometimes things work out in a way you wouldn’t believe, so I give God thanks,” said McRae, a longtime Flow prepaid customer. For Campbell, the win represents a chance to make her Clarendon home more comfortable. “I want to feel comfortable and like I belong.
“I haven’t started spending any money yet, but I give God and Flow thanks for this, and I’m continuing my prayers for the grand prize.” Leung, who has been a customer of Flow since the 1970s, also plans to put some of her winnings towards improving her home while supporting her medical needs. Leung, who qualified after purchasing a 28-day prepaid plan, added that WhatsApp is her main medium of communication. Flow said the three millionaire winners will all be re-entered for the promotion’s $3 million grand prize, which also includes a trip for two to Barbados for the Caribbean Premier League final on September 20.
It noted that customers also have opportunities to win $50,000 weekly by upgrading their SIM. The Passport to Millions promotion ends September 21, giving eligible customers more opportunities to win before the summer campaign closes.
