IMF confirms new review of program with Honduras in November and anticipates negotiations for a new agreement

The Government of Honduras has confirmed that an International Monetary Fund (FMI) mission will visit the country between late October and the first week of November 2026. The delegation will conduct the sixth review of the currently active economic program.

In addition to evaluating the existing program, the upcoming visit is anticipated to include negotiations for a new agreement between the IMF and Honduran authorities.
