Food Security Pack beneficiaries increases in Mpongwe

The Zambian government has increased the number of beneficiaries for the Wetlands Component of the Food Security Pack (FSP) program in Mpongwe District. For the upcoming 2026/2027 farming season, the total number of recipients will rise from 700 to 1,100.

The expansion was announced during the official launch of the farming input distribution process held at Mukulefumo in Mpongwe District. This initiative is part of the government's ongoing efforts to support local agricultural production through the provision of necessary resources to farmers.
