'Foreign forces must leave': Iran says regional countries can ensure their own security

Aliakbar Velayati, an adviser to Iran's supreme leader, issued a public call for foreign forces to leave the Middle East region.

In a statement published on the social media platform X, Velayati asserted that the presence of foreign military forces is the primary driver of instability and insecurity in the area. He further expressed the view that regional countries possess the capability to ensure their own security independently.
