Former CDP members of Centrist Reform Alliance finalize plans to form new party

Former members of the Centrist Reform Alliance (CRA), previously affiliated with the Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP), have finalized plans to establish a new political party. This move marks a significant shift in the composition of the current parliamentary landscape as these lawmakers formalize their departure from their former political home.

Simultaneously, 28 Lower House lawmakers associated with the CRA who maintain ties to Komeito are expected to rejoin the Komeito party. This realignment is projected to take place prior to the commencement of the next parliamentary session, potentially altering the legislative balance of power.
