First Thing: Duane Keith Davis found guilty of 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur

On Monday, a Las Vegas jury found former South Side Compton Crips gang leader Duane “Keffe D” Davis guilty of the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. The verdict, which followed approximately three hours of jury deliberation, concluded a case involving a drive-by shooting that has remained a subject of public interest for nearly three decades. Davis was convicted of first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
