Four drone strikes in four days hit tankers carrying Kazakhstan's oil

Over the past four days, four separate drone strikes have targeted tankers transporting oil from Kazakhstan in the Black Sea. The attacks have persisted over multiple days, prompting officials in Astana to issue a formal condemnation of the strikes.

The targeted vessels are part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) route, which is a critical artery for energy exports. This route is responsible for transporting approximately 80% of Kazakhstan's total oil exports and accounts for more than 1% of the global oil supply.
