Four Iranian military advisers killed in Iraq in US-Saudi strikes, report says

Overnight US-Saudi military strikes in Iraq killed at least 20 individuals, including four Iranian Revolutionary Guards military advisers, according to reports published on Wednesday. The Hashed al-Shaabi, an armed Iraqi alliance that includes pro-Iran groups, stated that several Iranians were among the casualties resulting from the operations in Iraq.

The United States and Saudi Arabia stated that the strikes targeted Iran-backed armed militants in Iraq in response to ongoing attacks against US forces and Saudi interests. Iran's Hamshahri newspaper reported the deaths of the four military advisers, though Iranian authorities have not officially confirmed the losses.
