FQM invests 5.7 million Kwacha in hospital upgrade

First Quantum Minerals (FQM) has invested 5.7 million Kwacha to upgrade the Emergency Department at Trident Mine Hospital in Kalumbila District. The project includes the addition of a specialised resuscitation room designed for complex medical interventions and a fully equipped emergency room that increases the facility's overall bed capacity.

This investment aims to enhance the hospital's capabilities in managing critical medical cases within the region. By expanding the infrastructure and equipment of the emergency department, the initiative seeks to improve the standard of care available to patients requiring urgent medical attention.
