NewzOn Tuesday, the Ivorian football federation (FIF) announced the appointment of French coach Herve Renard for a second spell as the manager of the Ivory Coast national team. Renard, 57, previously led the team, known as The Elephants, to victory at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In taking the role, Renard replaces Emerse Fae. Fae was not retained by the federation despite previously guiding the team to the AFCON title in 2024.
