According to recent research from a small business insurance company, fuel costs have emerged as the primary driver of profit losses for small businesses across Atlantic Canada.
The financial strain caused by these rising expenses has led more than half of small businesses in the Maritimes to report that they have considered closing their doors permanently over the course of the year.
