Fuertes vientos dañan más de 100 viviendas y una institución educativa en Salpo, La Libertad, y dejan a todo el distrito sin luz

On Monday, August 10, strong gusts of wind struck the district of Salpo, located in the province of Otuzco within the La Libertad region. The severe weather event caused damage to more than one hundred homes and an educational institution.

In addition to the structural damage inflicted on residential and educational buildings, the meteorological incident disrupted local infrastructure by leaving the entire district without electrical power.
