FundéuRAE: "astrology" is not the same as "astronomy"

The Fundación del Español Urgente (FundéuRAE), an organization promoted by the Agencia EFE and the RAE, issued a clarification on August 11 in Madrid regarding the distinct meanings of the terms "astronomy" and "astrology." The foundation emphasizes that these nouns, along with their corresponding professional titles "astronomer" and "astrologer," are not interchangeable and should be used precisely.
