Galliano and the Met call off 2027 exhibition following backlash

John Galliano and the Metropolitan Museum of Art have cancelled a planned 2027 exhibition following public backlash. The cancelled showcase was originally scheduled to run for eight months.

The exhibition was intended to open alongside the 2027 Met Gala, which is the Costume Institute’s traditional spring exhibition held annually on the first Monday in May.
