On Saturday, October 17, two children, aged eight and nine, died in separate incidents in the western region of Mexico City. One child was killed after being struck by a Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos fire truck in La Magdalena Contreras, while the second child died following a structural collapse in the same area.
