Gas prices up $3.06, diesel up $10.50

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, September 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam. After an increase of $3.06, 90-octane will be sold for $217.32 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $209.62 per litre up by $3.06. Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $249.63 per litre after an increase of $10.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $268.83 per litre up by $10.50.

Kerosene increased by $4.50 and will be sold for $218.16 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $77.66 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $91.44 per litre after a decrease of $2.00. Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
