Gazan photographer did not publish Oct. 7 footage so as not to 'ruin lives' of Palestinian mob

Gazan photographer Motaz Azaiza recently stated that he chose not to publish footage he captured during the October 7 attacks in Israel. Azaiza explained that his decision was motivated by a desire to avoid exposing the identities of the Palestinian individuals involved in the events, thereby preventing potential repercussions for their lives.

Beyond his account of the October 7 footage, Azaiza has also publicly criticized Hamas leadership. He specifically expressed frustration regarding the organization's prolonged refusal to reach a negotiated agreement during the ongoing conflict.
