Georgia moved historic house instead of demolishing it; now it becomes a cafe

The historic McCray House in Acworth, Georgia, has been relocated and restored to serve as the new Bizarre Coffee shop. The project involved moving the pre-Civil War structure to a new location rather than proceeding with its demolition.

The city government invested nearly half a million dollars into the preservation effort. This initiative aims to maintain the building's historical significance while integrating it into the community as a functional commercial space.
