Germany news: UK's Burnham, Merz to talk security in Berlin

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is visiting Berlin to launch a new joint security partnership with Germany. During his trip, he is scheduled to hold talks regarding security matters with German political figure Friedrich Merz.

Simultaneously, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is away from the country on a state visit to France.
