GGML donates 1.2bn/- to support children’s cardiac treatment at JKCI

Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) and the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) have established a three-year strategic partnership to provide specialized cardiac surgeries for children in Tanzania. As part of this initiative, GGML has committed 1.2 billion Tanzanian shillings to fund medical procedures for up to 300 pediatric patients.

The collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding access to essential heart treatments. This funding initiative represents a significant effort to address the medical needs of children suffering from cardiac conditions within the country.
