Close reached out to the duo to express her admiration for their television series 'La Mesías.'

Following this initial contact, the relationship developed over several years. This connection eventually led to Close accepting a role in the creators' project 'La bola negra,' where she agreed to perform her lines in Spanish despite not speaking the language.
