Keiko Fujimori's government transfers more than S/277 million to the Ministry of the Interior to pay pensions to military and police personnel

The administration of Keiko Fujimori has authorized a financial transfer exceeding S/ 277 million to the Ministry of the Interior (Mininter). The funds are designated to cover pension obligations for the military and police forces through the Caja de Pensiones Militar Policial (CPMP) during the 2026 Fiscal Year.

This budgetary allocation is aimed at securing the financial resources necessary for the state's pre-existing commitments to retired personnel within the security sectors.
