The US will hand over three pre-Hispanic treasures to Mexico, one of which was in a famous New York museum

The Mexican government, through the Ministries of Foreign Relations and Culture as well as the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), is preparing the repatriation of three pre-Hispanic archaeological pieces from the United States. According to a joint statement dated August 4, the items are currently located at the Consulate General of Mexico.

The artifacts scheduled for return include an anthropomorphic figure representing a warrior, a stone bowl, and an obsidian blade. One of these cultural treasures had previously been housed in a famous museum in New York.
