Government will pay more than RD$75 million; Liranyi and Brenda, the biggest beneficiaries

The Dominican government will disburse over RD$75 million in financial incentives to national athletes following their participation in the recently concluded XXV Central American and Caribbean Games held in Santo Domingo in 2026. These payments serve as recognition for the performances delivered by the athletes during the regional multi-sport event.

Among the beneficiaries, athletes Liranyi Alonso, who competed in track and field, and Brenda Castillo are highlighted as receiving the largest portions of the incentive funds. The allocation of these resources follows the official conclusion of the games, marking the fulfillment of government commitments to the country's representatives.
