Government plans exit from Santo Domingo to Cibao without traffic lights

The Dominican government has announced a new infrastructure initiative aimed at eliminating traffic light interruptions on the exit from Santo Domingo toward the northern region, known as the Cibao. The project involves the construction of new grade-separated intersections (pasos a desnivel) along the Duarte Highway.

This initiative is part of a broader package of public works designed to transform the country's primary transportation corridors and improve traffic flow between the capital and the northern provinces.
