Government plans exit from Santo Domingo to Cibao without traffic lights

The Dominican government is planning to eliminate traffic light interruptions on the route exiting Santo Domingo toward the Cibao region, or Northern region, of the country. The initiative involves the construction of new grade-separated intersections (pasos a desnivel) along the Duarte highway.

This infrastructure project is part of a broader set of public works intended to transform the country's primary transportation corridors and improve vehicular flow out of the capital city.
