Greece is keeping its Patriot missiles in Saudi Arabia for one more month

Greece has decided to extend the deployment of its Patriot missile battery in Saudi Arabia by one more month. Defence Minister Nikos Dendias announced the extension following a meeting of the Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defence (KYSEA).

Dendias expressed a belief that the underlying issue concerning the deployment with Saudi Arabia will be resolved. The Patriot system will remain stationed in the kingdom for the duration of the granted extension.
