Greece’s U16 women’s water polo team continued its impressive run at the World Championships in Zagreb, defeating Croatia 19-4 to record its second consecutive victory in the tournament. The Greek side took control from the opening whistle and effectively secured the result by halftime, building a commanding 10-3 lead. Greece dominated the first half with four goals in the opening quarter and six more in the second.
Although the team scored only once in the third period, it finished strongly by netting eight goals in the final quarter. The defence also impressed, conceding just one goal after halftime after allowing three in the opening two quarters.
