Greece has announced its eight-player Baseball5 squad for the sport’s historic debut at the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026, with competition set to begin on Wednesday, July 29 in Italy. Currently ranked 49th in the WBSC Baseball5 World Rankings, Greece has limited international experience, having previously competed only at the 2022 U-17 Baseball5 European Championship, where it finished 10th among 14 teams. Efthimis Andritsopoulos, the only player returning from that U-17 squad, is expected to provide valuable leadership throughout the four-day tournament.
