Greek Ports See Sharp Drop in Cargo Traffic

Data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) reveals a decline in both passenger and cargo traffic across Greek ports during the first quarter of 2026.

Total passenger traffic experienced a 1% decrease in the first quarter of 2026 when compared to the same period in the previous year, alongside a sharp drop in cargo traffic.
