The embassy’s alert, posted on the social media platform X last week, cautioned against potential risks in the telecommunications sector.

Gómez Mazara’s statement serves as a direct response to public speculation linking the diplomatic warning to the ongoing bidding process involving the Vietnamese telecommunications firm. By dismissing this connection, the Indotel official seeks to decouple the regulatory oversight of the tender from the broader geopolitical concerns raised by the U.S. mission.
