The Ministry of Culture has reported the discovery of small stone sculptures featuring female traits during archaeological excavations at the Kuélap site in the Amazonas region. These artifacts, identified as illas, depict animals combined with sexual characteristics.

According to the reports, the newly discovered stone pieces are believed to be linked to fertility and abundance rituals dating back to the Inca period.
