“Narcomono” found in cocaine operation will be taken to the Zoo

An exotic monkey, colloquially referred to as a "narcomono," was discovered during an anti-narcotics operation conducted off the coast of Baní in the Dominican Republic. Following the operation, the animal was placed under the control of environmental authorities.

Once the necessary sanitary procedures are completed, the exotic primate is slated to be transferred to the Parque Zoológico Nacional (Zoodom) for proper care and housing.
