Hands On Studio turns 30 as artist hopes Gillard portrait hangs in parliament

Canberra's Hands On Studio is marking its 30th anniversary, coinciding with a notable milestone for long-time participant and artist Stephen Corsini.

Corsini has spent three decades attending the studio and has created a portrait of Australia's first female prime minister, Julia Gillard. He has expressed his desire for the artwork to eventually be displayed in Parliament House.
