Harry Kane wint Gouden Bal tijdens een verder vrijwel volledig door Spanje gedomineerd voetbalfeestje

Harry Kane has won the Golden Ball during an event that was otherwise largely dominated by Spanish football. During the previous season, Kane scored a total of 73 goals playing for Bayern München and the England national team.

In addition to Kane's award, Alexia Putellas was named the best female footballer of the year at the same event.
