Hassett: Fuel prices 'still higher than we would like’

National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett expressed concern regarding continued high fuel prices during a Sunday interview. He attributed the elevated prices to the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Hassett stated that the administration has implemented numerous steps to address the situation. According to Hassett, these measures are intended to facilitate a significant decline in fuel prices once the situation in the Persian Gulf is resolved.
