Health NZ adds 380 frontline roles as it considers nurse-to-patient ratios

Health New Zealand has announced the addition of 380 frontline roles, including 94 dedicated emergency department positions. The agency is also examining the implementation of minimum nurse-to-patient ratios to address staffing levels and improve patient care across the healthcare system.
