Hero passenger on Fly Dubai flight: "I decided that we are going to survive"

This past Wednesday, Fly Dubai Flight 1073 traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv suffered a critical mid-air incident when the co-pilot attacked the captain and attempted to crash the Boeing 737 Max jet into the Arabian Desert. During the attack, the aircraft plunged 14,000 feet in a matter of seconds.

Passengers aboard the flight intervened heroically, successfully subduing the attacker. Simultaneously, another pilot was able to right the plane with moments to spare, averting a catastrophic disaster.
