Hispasat (Indra) wins the main contract for the IRIS2 space project for more than 1.6 billion

Hispasat, a company 89.68% owned by Indra, has been selected as the prime contractor for the IRIS2 space project. The contract, valued at over 1.6 billion euros, tasks the firm with developing the infrastructure for antennas, control systems, and terrestrial network connectivity.

IRIS2 is a new satellite constellation initiative launched by the European Union. By securing this role, Hispasat positions itself as a central player in the development of the European Union's strategic satellite communications infrastructure.
