Historic boats stripped of brass fittings in Paeroa break-in

Overnight, historic boats Ariana and Norita housed at the Historical Maritime Park in Paeroa were targeted in a break-in. Thieves stripped the vessels of multiple brass fittings, including portholes, steering wheels, and railings.
