Holyoke picks its chief administrative, financial officer

HOLYOKE — The city is taking another step in its effort to overhaul its finances, with Mayor Joshua Garcia announcing the choice for the Holyoke’s first chief administrative and financial officer on Monday. Garcia selected Timothy Plante, of Springfield, for the newly created role, pending City Council approval and availability of appropriated funding, according to a statement from Garcia’s office on Monday.
