Armed men set fire to a bus in Antioquia and forced the passengers to get off the vehicle before burning it.

On the night of Friday, August 21, 2026, a group of armed men intercepted and incinerated a public transport bus belonging to the Sotransoda company in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. The attack took place in the Altamira sector of the San Miguel rural area, located along the highway connecting the municipalities of La Unión and Sonsón.

Prior to destroying the vehicle, the armed individuals forced all passengers on board to disembark safely. No injuries or casualties among the travelers were reported in connection with the incident.
